Miss Ludington Area Pageant
Postponed to 2021 due to Covid-19
The pageant is open to never-married women between the ages of 17-24 (or high school seniors) from Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties. Contestants are judged based on-stage question, interview, talent and evening gown/social impact statement. The winner is qualified to enter the Miss Michigan Pageant, a precursor to the Miss America Pageant.

About Miss Ludington 2020, Madelyn Shamel
18-year old Madelyn Shamel was crowned the 2020 Miss Ludington Area, held at West Shore Community College's Center Stage Theater.
Madelyn Shamel, 18, is enrolled at Calvin University. Her talent is contemporary dance and her platform is called "Better Together."
Madelyn follows Leah Massie, 2017 Miss Ludington Area, and competed against four other women for the title.
