Winter
The lakeshore communities of West Michigan do a fantastic job of hosting events and activities that include the whole family. There's so much happening that is geared specifically toward kids and families as a whole, and that's part of what makes being here so amazing!

Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!

Saturday, January 25th, 2-3:30pm AND 6-7:30pm


Guided Snowshoe Walk at the Ludington State Park warming shelter.

Monday, January 27th, 6:30-7:30pm


Homeschooling Information Night in the Rotary Room of the Ludington Library- 217 E. Ludington Ave. Hosted by the Mason County Christian Home Educators and GLO Homeschool Co-op. Current homeschooled students will be present and there will be an opportunity to have questions about homeschooling answered.

Guided Snowshoe Walk at the Ludington State Park warming shelter.

Ever Thursday beginning February 6th, 11:30am-12:30pm


Moms & More at West Shore Family Support- 603 E. Tinkham Ave. in Ludington. Moms are invited to gather for a cup of coffee and to be encouraged and equipped for motherhood. A trained facilitator will lead discussions around topic that matter to moms and their quest to provide safe and loving homes for their young children. Children are welcome. Snacks and crafts will be provided.

Friday, February 7th, 5:30-8pm


4th Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance: Boots 'n Bows at the Greystone Event Center- 4079 W. US 10 in Ludington. Tickets are $15 per person which includes dinner and must be purchased ahead of time at west-shore-family-support.snwbll.com.

  • All Day - Winterfest in Pentwater & Hart.
